As an up–and-coming trading power, China has become a popular subject of study in the world economic research, its export development after becoming a WTO member has attracted special attention. Foreign media have produced frequent reports, predicting that China’s exports would expand rapidly. However, every thing has two aspects, it is the same with the impacts of China’s WTO entry on the export development. The following article tries to give a detailed analysis of the development of China’s foreign trade, including its performance, the impacts, and its future.
