The report is focused on Leadership of organizational behavior. We will utilize the case incident of Jack Hartnett at D.L.Rogers Corp., through case overview, we know about Jack Hartnett, president of D.L.Rogers, and learn about his management in this company. Then we will answer the questions which the case study request, while answering the questions, we will refer to some theories which are covered in related chapters of text book(Organizational Behavior,9th edition by Stephen P. Robbins). We will compare transactional leader and transformational leader, and to find the leadership type of Jack Hartnett. Also we will learn how the situational variables can result on leadership outcome, we use path-goal theory to explain base on what situational variables that Jack Hartnett can get the success. Finally we will come out the conclusion according to the case analysis result, also we bring up with some recommendations on how to make effective leadership. |
