Abstract: This article mainly discusses in English language teaching, how teachers use the nonverbal communication, which can be divided into four categories: body language, paralanguage, object language and environmental language. If we make use of them actively, we can make our classes more interesting thus stimulate the students’ motivation and affection in English study.
