| Being a simple markup language, HTML contributes much to the development of the Internet. But for the complicated application, HTML can't satisfy the demand of people. Inherited from SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language), XML (Extensible Markup Language') has the characteristics of flexibility, extensibility and simpleness. In this paper, we bring out a prototype of data exchange system using XML, which implements exchange of data from heterogeneous sources. HTML作为一种简单易用的标记语言，极大的推动了Internet的发展。但是随着Internet应用的展开，HTML已经不能满足人们的需要。XML作为下一代Internet语言，具有极大的灵活性。利用XML，可以在Internet展开各种复杂的应用。在这篇文章里，我们实现了一个基于XML数据交换系统的原型，用XML作为数据中介，实现了异构数据的集成和交换。 |
