摘要
翻译准则中的一个重要问题，乃所有翻译理论家都认为译作要忠实与原文。对一个译者来说，忠实与原文是他的首要职责。许多译者也在实践中寻求达到忠实与原文的最好方法。然而，不同的语言之间有众多的不同之处------不同的词汇，不同的语言结构，不同的传统风俗，历史以及不同的文化背景。因而“对的忠实与原文”不大可能的。本文讨论了“信”的定义以及一些相关理论。并且重点介绍了在诗歌翻译中如何从音、形、意三个方面达到“信”。

Abstract
Faithfulness is an important question of the principle of translation. All theorists maintain that translation should be faithful to the original. To be faithful is the first responsibility to a translator, and many translators have tempted to find the best approach to fidelity in their practice. However, there are disparities between one language and another-----disparities in the lexicology, in the linguistic structure or even in the tradition, history and culture. So “absolute faithfulness” is impossible. This article discusses the definition of faithfulness and some theories in relation to it. It emphasizes on how to achieve faithfulness in poetry translation and mainly discusses the three aspects we should pay attention to in poetry translation------sense, sound and form.
