The way in the future where CAD/CAM technology and products developed

Through the popularization for many years, CAD technology has already widely been used in the trades, such as machinery, electron, spaceflight, chemical industry, building,etc.. It use get up for technologies at CAD arrive it raise by the design efficiencies of enterprise, Optimize the function, such as plan of design, labour intensity of lightenning the technical staff, standardization shortenning design cycle, strengthen designing,etc.. In recent years, of our country CAD the development and use and make considerable developments of technologies, Except that have carried on Chinesizing and secondary development to a lot of foreign software, many CADs system with independent copyright have emerged yet, For instance high China CAD, opens eye CAD,etc., because the software price is cheap, Accord with national conditions and standard, so has received the extensive welcome, has gained greater and greater market share.
However, of our country CAD/CAM softwares no matter not at product development level or from commercializing , market-oriented degrees have no small disparity with the developed country. Because CAD/CAM of foreign countries software appear relatively early, develop and too relatively long time that use, So they develop relatively ripe, have already captured the international market basically now. These foreign software companies utilize the advantages of its technology and fund, begin to march into the market of our country energetically, At present, foreign outstanding softwareseses is for instance UG, SolidWorkses, Pro/Engineers, CATIAs,etc., Have already captured a part of the domestic market. So, CAD/CAM software prospect of our country allows of no optimist. However, we should see one's own advantage clearly , for example understand national market, It is convenient to offer technical support, the price is cheap. On the premise of these, have not as serious at the tendency of the day we not merely and follow world new trendses most, It observes international standardses in international and domestic to form own unique advantage , Should base on it at home even more, combine the national conditions, face the need of domestic economic construction, Develop one's own characteristics , accord with CAD/CAM software that Chinese got used to.
The technology of the computer changes with each passing day, the hardware upgrades the speed very fast. During this short more than 40 years, computers experienced mainframe, minicomputer, work station, computer era respectively, Each new era presents CAD/CAM software of the new prevalence . In the era of the work station, UG, Pro/Engineer are the outstanding person of platform three- dimensional CAD/CAM software of the work station, In nowadays era of the computer, SolidWorks is in the leading position in three-dimensional CAD/CAM software of WindowsNT's platform. Because has already had regular hour and input to develop CAD/CAM software on Unix's platform of work station abroad, Of our country softwares wait for developed country backward manies than U.S.A. in this respect. But it is a brand-new field to develop CAD/CAM software on the platform of computer, our country is similar to foreign starting point, All use VisualC ++, OpenGL waits for tools to carry on software development, develops the advanced one on the basis of this, It is possible to accord with CAD/CAM software that the national user is used to.
The CAD/CAM technology may apply in many domains, the machine manufacture is most early also is widely applies the CAD/CAM,technology the domain. Along with the CAD/CAM technology development,the construction, electronic, the chemical domain also starts to apply  this technology, in these new application domains, the overseas  software superiority is not certainly obvious. Therefore, our country CAD/CAM software in these aspects or may with the developed country competition, and along with CAD/CAM technology  application thorough, more and more many domains will be able to use this technology, therefore, if will be able to follow close on the trend of the times, unceasingly will apply to the new domain, then domestically produced CAD/CAM software or will have the future very much.
In brief, we also have very long Lu Yao to walk, but must frequently remember, develops CAD/CAM software the final goal applies the CAD/CAM technology, enhances the enterprise the design and the manufacture level, therefore, CAD/CAM software not only wants the level to be high, has own characteristic, must be able the market, to take back the investment from the market, thus can unceasingly renew development software according to user's demand

 

CAD/CAM技术及产品发展的未来之路
经过多年的推广,CAD技术已经广泛地应用在机械、电子、航天、化工、建筑等行业。应用CAD技术起到了提高企业的设计效率、优化设计方案、减轻技术人员的劳动强度、缩短设计周期、加强设计的标准化等作用。近年来,我国CAD技术的开发和应用取得了长足的发展,除对许多国外软件进行了汉化和二次开发以外,还诞生了不少具有自主版权的CAD系统,如高华CAD,开目CAD等,由于这些软件价格便宜,符合本国国情和标准,所以受到了广泛的欢迎,赢得了越来越大的市场份额。
但是,我国CAD/CAM软件不管是从产品开发水平还是从商品化、市场化程度都与发达国家有不小的差距。由于国外CAD/CAM软件出现得较早,开发和应用的时间也较长,所以它们发展比较成熟,现在基本上已经占领了国际市场。这些国外软件公司利用其技术和资金的优势,开始大力向我国市场进军,目前,国外一些优秀软件,如UG、SolidWorks、Pro/Engineer、CATIA等,已经占领了一部分国内市场。所以,我国CAD/CAM软件前景不容乐观。但是,我们也应该看清自己的优势,比如了解本国市场,提供技术支持方便,价格便宜等。在这些前提下,我们不仅要紧跟时代潮流,跟踪国际最新动态,遵守各种国际规范,在国际国内形成自己独特的优势,更要立足国内,结合国情,面向国内经济建设的需要,开发出有自己特色,符合中国人习惯的CAD/CAM软件。
计算机技术日新月异,硬件更新速度很快。在这短短的四十几年中,计算机分别经历了大型机、小型机、工作站、微机时代,每个新时代都出现了新的流行的CAD/CAM软件。在工作站时代,UG、Pro/Engineer是工作站平台三维CAD/CAM软件的佼佼者,而在当今微机时代,SolidWorks在WindowsNT平台的三维CAD/CAM软件中处于领先地位。由于国外在Unix工作站平台上开发CAD/CAM软件已有一定的时间和投入,我国软件在这方面比美国等发达国家落后许多。但是在微机平台上开发CAD/CAM软件是一个全新的领域,我国与国外起点差不多,都是使用VisualC++,OpenGL等工具进行软件开发,在这基础上开发出先进的,符合本国用户习惯的CAD/CAM软件还是有可能的。
CAD/CAM技术可以应用在许多领域,机械制造是最早也是最广泛应用CAD/CAM技术的领域。随着CAD/CAM技术的发展,建筑、电子、化工的领域也开始应用该技术,在这些新的应用领域中,国外软件的优势并不明显。所以,我国CAD/CAM软件在这些方面还是可以与发达国家竞争的,并且随着CAD/CAM技术应用的深入,越来越多的领域将会使用该技术,所以,如果能够紧跟时代潮流,不断应用于新的领域,那么国产CAD/CAM软件还是很有前途的。
总之,我们还有很长的路要走,但是要时刻记住,开发CAD/CAM软件的最终目的是应用CAD/CAM技术,提高企业的设计和制造水平,所以,CAD/CAM软件不仅要水平高,有自己的特色,更要能够市场化,从市场中收回投入,从而能够根据用户的需求不断地更新发展软件
