This dissertation focuses on the differences and developments of the words meaning.
It is the author’s belief that when a word is translated from one language into another, its meaning usually has some variances. It is due to this reason that in cross-culture communication, misunderstandings and misinterpretations occur. For this reason, the author raises the notion of the differences and developments of the words meaning. In order to scientifically do research in this field, the author applies “semantic differential test” and “one way analysis of variance” as the research methods. “Semantic differential test” is a method, which provides account of the differences of the associative meaning of words. “One way analysis of variance” is an analytical method of statistics, which display the range of variance of certain groups of data
