Abstract: This article mainly analyzes the drastic revolutions induced by network and informationalization in education field, such as relationship between teacher and student, learning environment and etc. It is deduced from the analysis that teachers have a richer role than the mere impartor in network era, who are required to possess some information qualities.

1. Revolutions Induced by Network and Informationalization
With the popularization of computer application and acceleration of informationalization, drastic revolutions have been brought out in almost every corner of society, in industry, life, entertainment, consuming and etc. Education is no exception in the case. Teacher as one important role in education field should certainly possess different notions from before.
1.1 Changes in Relationship between Teachers and Students
As the gradual penetration of informationalization and network into education field, traditional teacher-student relationship changes by leaps and bounds. The teacher-centered instructing model which has played a dominant role in class for thousands of years quickly lost its monopoly status. Various instructing models crop up, among which the latest but not least influential one is computer-assisted learning, a cooperative and student-centered learning realized through the application of computer and network. Teachers in computer-assisted cooperative learning play a role as a propeller other than an instructor. They organize, propel and evaluate the whole learning process, but it is the students who learn the knowledge through fulfilling various learning tasks by themselves or group working with the assistance of computer and network. |
