unemployment situation in China

Unemployment is the macroeconomic problem that affects individuals most directly and severely. For most people, the loss of a job means a decreasing living standard and psychological distress. It is therefore no surprise that unemployment is a frequent topic of our society.
By virtue of the economists’ study, government has pooled lots of money and recourses and taken feasible steps to deal with this problem. Firstly, unemployment fund has been established to help the unemployed workers to support themselves. Secondly, the unemployed receive vocational training, which is expected to pay off in the short term and give the unemployed an advantage in the job market. These training programs aim to equip the worker with some special skills, such as typing, sewing, and cooking. Finally, psychological advice is also available, since unemployment, apart from exerting financial pressures, brings enormous psychological discomfort. With the advice, the unemployed will learn how to deal with the troubles and keep pace with the technological age. The individuals have gradually adapted themselves to the fierce competition and modern concept of enterprise. With joint efforts of the government and the society, the problem of unemployment may be solved in the foreseeable future.

A. By analyzing the economic determinants, economists provide many useful suggestions.
B. The government and the individuals have already paid much attention to this problem and taken steps to deal with it.
C. The individuals have gradually adapted themselves to the fierce competition and modern concept of enterprise.
